Three possibilities:

One – center the B&G. I know that two shall walk as one, but she looks like she is invading his space.

Two – Try the photo from a diagonal perspective. Make the road run from just inside the lower left corner to the inside of the upper right corner.

Three – try a slight tilt. Some will say they are falling or walking uphill, but others will like it.

Don’t know what your constraints were, but I hope these expand your possibilities.
That’s my two cents worth.
